Vision & Programming
We define how the space must look, feel, perform, and support the people, brand, and operations inside it.
Commercial Design Consulting
COREFINISH GROUP leads the space between a commercial design concept and the finished environment—aligning brand, function, materials, millwork, procurement, budget, vendors, and field execution.
What We Are
Commercial interiors succeed when the brand experience, operational requirements, technical information, purchasing decisions, and construction realities are managed as one system.
We work as the owner’s commercial interior design consultant and execution partner. Architects and licensed engineering consultants remain responsible for required professional services, code analysis, and sealed documents; COREFINISH controls the interior package and the decisions connecting it.

Our Creative Perspective
Rodney Marullo’s background in photography, music, landscape, and construction gives COREFINISH a distinct way of seeing commercial space—creative enough to establish identity and disciplined enough to carry it through delivery.

We define how the space must look, feel, perform, and support the people, brand, and operations inside it.
We help organize adjacencies, circulation, functional zones, furniture relationships, and operational priorities with the project architect.
We establish a disciplined material language across flooring, walls, ceilings, millwork, metals, glass, stone, solid surface, textiles, and specialty finishes.
We develop the visual and functional intent for reception desks, bars, built-ins, feature walls, casework, banquettes, storage, and architectural elements.
We coordinate decorative and integrated lighting intent with power, controls, millwork, ceiling conditions, equipment, and service access.
We guide FF&E selection, specification, vendor coordination, purchasing strategy, lead times, delivery, and placement.
We connect the organization’s identity to materials, focal points, signage, wayfinding, display, and the complete client experience.
We qualify sources, level bids, clarify scope, manage approvals, track commitments, and protect the schedule from fragmented purchasing.
We review submittals, samples, substitutions, field conditions, mockups, installation quality, punch-list items, and design-impacting decisions.
When direct delivery is the right solution, CORE may price or manage defined cabinetry, millwork, solid-surface, wall-system, and specialty-finish packages. Consulting leads the relationship; execution supports it when appropriate.

Ways to Engage
A focused assessment of the concept, drawings, scope, budget, risks, and next decisions. Best before pricing or when a project needs an independent second set of eyes.
Ongoing leadership connecting the owner, architect, consultants, vendors, fabricators, and contractor while protecting the approved design direction.
Commercial design consulting, documentation coordination, procurement leadership, construction-phase review, installation oversight, and closeout under one controlled engagement.
What the Client Receives
Every engagement is documented so the owner can see what has been decided, what remains open, who is responsible, and what could affect cost, schedule, or design intent.
Relevant Experience
Our experience includes corporate, healthcare, education, civic, automotive retail, hospitality, amenity, and public environments—with deep technical command of the interior packages where design and construction most often separate.
