You purchase directly.
The client or general contractor issues approved purchase orders to suppliers and pays them directly for the products, fabrication and delivery expressly included in those orders.

Purchasing & Payment
Direct supplier purchasing. Dedicated management. Defined installation milestones. A clear view of who does what—and when payments are due.
Why we work this way
We separate supplier purchases from our management and installation services so clients can see the cost and responsibility associated with each part of the project. Supplier payments support purchasing and fabrication. COREFINISH payments support the coordination and field work that bring the project together.
The client or general contractor issues approved purchase orders to suppliers and pays them directly for the products, fabrication and delivery expressly included in those orders.
Our separate agreement defines sourcing, scope reconciliation, quotation review, shop-drawing coordination, production tracking and delivery planning.
Our installation scope identifies field work, handling responsibilities, installation interfaces, punch work and closeout. Payments follow defined field milestones.
Payment milestones
Supplier deposits and balances follow the accepted supplier purchase orders. COREFINISH’s management and installation fees are separately identified and use the following standard milestones, unless the signed agreement states otherwise.
Begins the contracted scope review, sourcing and procurement coordination.
Due upon completion of purchasing coordination and release of approved supplier orders.
Due when the contracted management services are complete.
Funds installation preparation and mobilization.
Due at the main installation milestone defined in the project agreement.
Due at substantial completion of COREFINISH’s installation scope.
Each percentage applies only to its respective COREFINISH fee—not to the supplier purchases or combined project budget. Payments are credited against the agreed amounts without duplicate billing.
Purchasing arrangements
Our standard structure places the supplier purchase order with the client or general contractor. COREFINISH prepares recommendations and coordinates the agreed process; the client authorizes orders and changes.
Each purchase order must identify responsibility for taxes, freight, receiving, storage, damage claims, returns and warranties. Those responsibilities are established in writing rather than assumed.
If product purchases move out of an existing COREFINISH contract, the corresponding product amounts are reconciled through a written adjustment. Our agreed management and installation fees remain separately payable.
A joint-check arrangement is an optional alternative when COREFINISH remains the supplier’s purchaser. It must be agreed in writing before purchasing.
The client or general contractor issues payment jointly to COREFINISH and the designated supplier. The parties establish invoice allocation, amounts, endorsement and processing arrangements before payment.
Supplier release depends on cleared funds. A joint check does not by itself convert the purchase into a client-issued direct purchase order or change contractual responsibilities.
Project payment policy
Required selections, dimensions, approvals and supplier funding must be in place before the corresponding orders are released. Supplier balances, freight, applicable taxes and approved handling or storage charges follow the accepted purchase-order terms before shipment.
Changes require written agreement on scope, price, payment and schedule before additional work or purchasing commitments proceed. Approved change orders identify their own payment milestones.
Dates depend on timely payments, approvals, supplier availability and site readiness. Delays require schedule coordination. Additional storage, handling or remobilization charges require written agreement.
The proposal and executed agreements define actual amounts, milestone acceptance, punch-list treatment and responsibility boundaries. Retainage, progress billing and other exceptions require COREFINISH’s written acceptance. Signed project terms govern; this page does not amend an existing contract.
