COREFINISH CERTIFIED INSTALLER PROGRAM
A rigorous national training standard for casework, architectural millwork, specialty interiors, healthcare environments, and accountable field execution.
THE STANDARD
COREFINISH certification is earned—not issued for attendance. Every installer must prove technical knowledge, field judgment, documentation discipline, workmanship, and the ability to protect the finished environment.
The program creates one installation language across projects, manufacturers, regions, and field teams.
START TRAINING HERE
The AI-guided training system is now part of the COREFINISH website. Learn the standard, practice difficult conditions, submit field proof, and earn certification in one place.
Your next lesson teaches the repeatable layout sequence required before a single cabinet is set.

CORE CURRICULUM
The curriculum follows the complete field obligation—from interpreting approved information to handing over protected, functioning, owner-ready work.
Read drawings, elevations, details, finish schedules, approved submittals, RFIs, and installation requirements as one controlled package.
Establish datums, verify dimensions and substrates, document conflicts, and stop unresolved conditions before they become installed mistakes.
Install institutional and commercial casework with correct layout, fastening, leveling, alignment, hardware adjustment, fillers, scribes, toe kicks, and interfaces.
Protect design intent through sequencing, reveals, grain, panel alignment, concealed attachment, transitions, feature conditions, and final presentation.
Understand healthcare protocols, infection-control risk assessment, cleanable interfaces, protected routes, phased work, and facility-specific procedures.
Coordinate templates, seams, supports, sinks, fixtures, equipment openings, service access, utilities, and adjacent-trade responsibilities.
Plan receiving, room-based labeling, custody, protected storage, installation sequence, damage reporting, and completed-work protection.
Inspect first conditions, record deviations, complete functional checks, resolve punch, capture evidence, and turn over owner-ready work.
HEALTHCARE INSTALLATION
Healthcare modules are supported by ASHE ICRA 2.0–qualified personnel and reinforced by COREFINISH’s healthcare experience, AWI certification, SEFA Associate Membership, and active U.S. Green Building Council membership.

CERTIFICATION PATH
Certification combines knowledge, demonstrated skill, supervised performance, and recurring accountability.
Complete every required learning module and pass the written assessment.
Perform controlled mockups covering layout, fastening, alignment, adjustment, scribing, protection, and documentation.
Demonstrate consistent performance on an active project under an approved lead installer.
Pass the final field evaluation and conduct review before receiving COREFINISH Certified Installer status.
Maintain current safety and healthcare training, acceptable field performance, and recurring skills verification.
CERTIFICATION TRACKS
Every badge represents verified knowledge, demonstrated installation skill, documented field performance, and continuing accountability.
COMMERCIAL & INSTITUTIONALCasework and architectural millwork installation, controlled documentation, protection, punch, and owner-ready closeout.
HEALTHCARE ENVIRONMENTSHealthcare casework coordination, infection-control discipline, protected routes, phased work, cleanable interfaces, and facility procedures. The medical badge cannot be earned without a current ASHE ICRA 2.0 certification.
