Datums, finished-floor elevations, centerlines, ceiling relationships, and adjacent materials establish the installation. Beginning from a convenient corner rather than the design geometry allows error to accumulate.
The installer is the last person with the opportunity to protect the design before the owner sees it.
Inspect interfaces continuously.
Reveals, scribes, joints, grain, hardware, panels, appliances, lighting, and stone conditions should be reviewed as work progresses—not at the end when access and correction are difficult.

- Track field modifications and approvals.
- Test operation before punch inspection.
Finish with presentation.
Adjustment, cleaning, touch-up, label removal, accessory installation, and owner-ready presentation are part of completion. Luxury work should not require imagination to understand the intended result.
